Times of the Day
Each day is separated into clearly defined learning sessions which start from the moment students arrive at the academy at 8.45 and run up until students leave at 2.45 (2.00 on Fridays).

Key Information
Core School Week: 29 hours and 15 minutes (1755 minutes)
Official Start to the Compulsory School Day: Mondays to Fridays – 8.45
Official End to the Compulsory School Day: Mondays to Thursdays – 2.45* and Fridays – 2.00
- Please note that from Monday 22nd September the Compulsory School Day will end at 2:30. This is a long-term temporary change to address the issues with traffic congestion in Bloxham Grove Road. This will be reviewed in December 2025.
This long-term temporary change has been extended until Friday 13th February 2026. From Monday 23rd February 2026 (after half term) we will revert to the normal time of 2:45.
Our broad and balanced curriculum is delivered throughout the core school week. We have planned the distribution of activities to ensure an effective use of time to deliver our curriculum:
